Listen, friends. You wanna go against the status quo? In simple living, in real food eating, in alternative health, in daring adventures?
The unfortunate truth is that it’s going to involve some serious discomfort. I have been pondering this truth lately, and have noticed that I’m too comfortable.
I don’t mean monetarily. Hubs has been “under-employed” for over two months now, and money’s tight. And I don’t mean literally, either – my butt is currently numb from this coffee shop chair I’ve parked at for the last couple of hours.
Too comfortable with the status quo, I mean. With being average. Because I’m too bone tired to do anything different. So the minor light bulb moment that I had today is that tired is where I need to start. I don’t accept tired as my norm anymore, and knowing that I have adrenal fatigue and making halfway attempts to heal it isn’t gonna cut it.
Time to get serious.
What I’m bumbling around and trying to say is that I am ready to lay the smack down in my life. The clutter in our house, the bad habits in our diet, the lack of self-discipline and routine – all of it is driving me bonkers. All of it exhausts me.
I’m mulling all of this over lately, and big shifts are on the horizon – I can feel it.

Got my kombucha revived… now I just hope it thrives and that I didn’t totally kill it by leaving it in a cupboard for three months. Fingers crossed we’ll be drinking kombucha this time next week!
