{Announcement!} Introducing “31 Days of Real Housewife Confessions”

It is with great excitement and slight fear and trembling, I am proud to announce the 31 Days of Real Housewife Confessions here at Red and Honey. For the entire month of October, I will post each and every day with a confession of sorts, and all of the musings and frivolity that comes with such a crazy idea. I’ve got all kinds of ideas for unique twists on this theme, so keep your eyes peeled, okay? (What a disturbing phrase! Why did my parents always say that to me?!). I’ll be joining in with a bunch of other nuts writing for 31 days on various topics, hosted by The Inspired Room. Check out that blog soon for links to other 31 Days series to follow.

We’re going to divide the month into four sections, and take a narrower focus for each:

Week One: Homemaking Confessions

Week Two: Parenting Confessions

Week Three: Marriage Confessions

Week Four: Womanhood Confessions

It is my sincere desire that this series will be a source of encouragement and hope to the other mamas out there toiling away in the same season of life. And, for those who aren’t in that life stage, I hope you can be entertained by my nutty life, and perhaps encouraged to be genuine and true to your own life of beauty and crazy. If nothing else, it should be fun to watch me airing all of my dirty laundry (ok, not all, people, seriously!).

Please note: I am looking for a few “guest confessions” to add throughout the series, so if you have a “confession” that you’d like to submit for possible publication, please email me at redandhoney (at) gmail.com, with the title “31 Days Submission”. If you can include a bit of musing with your confession, that would be just lovely. If not, I still want to hear it!

I also laboured over silly HTML coding to figure out how to put a 31 Days of Real Housewife Confessions button and grab box on the sidebar over there, so that you can stick a  button on your blog or website to share the love with others. Please put it to good use and don’t tell me I just wasted good bathroom-scrubbing time for nothing.

Woohoo! This is going to be nutty/ridiculous/boring/lame/silly AWESOME! I do hope you’ll stick around and add your brilliant pearls of wisdom and wit in the comment section. We start one week from today!

UPDATED: Our 31 Days Series has started! Check out Day One here!

Sounds interesting. :) Honestly not sure if I’ll be able to read them or not. We are considering getting rid of Internet, Satellite for sure. Even if we have Internet I will be online a LOT less, as I have been trying to do the past few weeks. That’s why I haven’t been commenting as much. A lot going on in my life, working on some really important things in our family life. So, really trying to stay offline. But I will try to read when I’m able. :) And know that even if I’m not able to comment I still enjoy reading your blog when I’m able to!

    Love,
    Krista

Well I certainly commend you for recognizing that things need to change. Your family is blessed to have a mama that is willing to do what needs done for the family’s best interest, even if it’s difficult. I will be in prayer for you guys as you work through whatever’s going on, and I hope that you find that less TV and internet is helpful! I still love hearing from you when you are able to comment, but I will certainly understand when you don’t. Thanks for your steadfast encouragement!
